The White-tailed Jackrabbit (Lepus townsendii), aka prairie hare and white jack, is a hare found in western North America. This animal is a member of Family Leporidae of Order Lagomorpha.

This jackrabbit has two described subspecies: L. townsendii townsendii and L. townsendii campanius.
