Grammar
- a predicate (grammar) is one of the two constituent parts of a sentence. It is the rest of the sentence apart from the subject. Actually, technically, the simple noun "things" is the subject and the verb, "come", the other words modify the key terms and comprise elements of the subject - the subjective phrase and the predicate phrase.
