Mansfield Motorsports Speedway is a half-mile automobile race track located just north of Mansfield, Ohio. Featuring moderately high banks and a wide racing surface, it is suitable for close racing and passing.
It features a regular weekly series of modified and stock car racing. In May, 2004, it held its first NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series event, expected to be an annual feature. It also features IMSA and MSA supermodifieds, HOSS sprint cars, and both ASA and ARCA stock cars during the course of the season.
For 2006, Mansfield Motorsports Speedway will become NASCAR Dodge Weekly Series sanctioned, making it the only Weekly Racing short track in America that hosts the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. The Craftsman Truck Series event will mark the third visit to Ohio’s premier race track in three years. Also racing at Mansfield will be the USAR Hooters Pro Cup Series twice, and the winged warrior ISMA Supermodifieds three times. Improvements to the speedway will include the installation of SAFER barriers in the turns.
For 2007, a drag strip will be constructed where Mansfield will host a Live Nation IHRA eMax Nitro Jam event.
