Hot may refer to:

• Relatively high temperature. See also heat conduction.
• Can describe spicy food.
• Jargon used to describe radioactivity. "Be careful, the room is hot". More generally, it can refer to any area that threatens life. See: Hot zone.
• Jargon used extensively to describe molten metal, e.g., tonnes of hot metal produced over a certain period of time by a blast furnace.
• Amphoe Hot, a district of Chiang Mai province, Thailand
• A 1970s pop music group whose best-known song is "Angel In Your Arms".
• Slang adjective describing something that has been stolen i.e Hot check.
• Slang adjective describing something or someone that is sexually attractive and/or provocative, usually in a positive manner. See physical attractiveness and sexual attraction.
