A Mastiff with a dewlap
A dewlap is a flap of skin that hangs beneath the chin of an animal. More generally, the term refers to any pendulous mass of skin, such as a fold of loose skin on an elderly person's neck, or the wattle of a bird.
Reptiles, most notably the anole species of lizard, have the ability to extend and retract their dewlaps, which are of a different color from the rest of their body. Males use them to intimidate rivals, and they are larger than the female dewlap, which is primarily used for defence, to make themselves look bigger. [1]
A zebu above has a fairly large dewlap, not to mention the odd hump.
