Encyclopedia Jr is a small portion of articles from Wikipedia. Wikipedia has become a very popular resource. However, many articles are of an adult nature and we don't feel are appropriate for kids. This site is meant to be a filtered version of Wikipedia. It is not perfect, but it is a much reduced version of Wikipedia with many potentially offensive articles removed.

Parents: there are thousands of articles and information on Encyclopedia Jr. We have made an effort to not include any information that is not child appropriate. The idea behind this web site is that there aren't links to articles that you would not want your child to read. That being said, we cannot guarantee that all information is child appropriate or will be appropriate for your specific child. We could also use your help.
